In celebration of Chicago Fashion Week, Ambassador Gold Coast presents The Ambassador Runway: The ’80s Edit — an elevated fashion and nightlife experience inspired by the decade of power dressing, statement silhouettes, bold glamour, and unapologetic style.
For one unforgettable night, The Ambassador Room transforms with dramatic red lighting, mirrored details, disco-inspired décor, music, cocktails, and an atmosphere where Chicago fashion meets nightlife.
Featuring Richard Dayhoff
The evening will feature a special fashion presentation by Richard Dayhoff, a Chicago designer known for his elegant simplicity, sculptural approach to style, and meticulous attention to detail. For more than 20 years, his designs have been sold at over 300 renowned retailers, including Nordstrom and Saks Fifth Avenue, with his work featured in publications including Women’s Wear Daily, Harper’s Bazaar, W, and Elle.

$50 Hotel Room Credit Terms & Conditions:
The $50 Room Credit is included with each paid event admission for this event and is limited to one (1) credit per paid event reservation. Credit is valid from June 1st, 2026 through Dec 31st, 2026. Credit is noncommunicable with any other promotions, discounts, or room credits. Valid on direct hotel room bookings only. Credit is transferable but has no cash value and cannot be redeemed for cash or applied toward deposits. Credit must be used during an eligible stay and any unused portion will be forfeited. Credit will be issued at check-in during the anniversary event. Blackout dates and restrictions may apply. Offer subject to availability and may be modified or discontinued at any time. Event Reservation Terms & Conditions
Event Refund Policy
Event Reservations may be canceled for a full refund up to 7 days prior to the scheduled event date. Within 7 days of the event, all reservations are final and non-refundable. No refunds, credits, or exchanges will be issued for no-shows or unused portions of the reservation.
Event Changes & Modifications
Event details, including but not limited to programming, timing, talent, menu offerings, and layout, are subject to change without prior notice.
Event Cancellation or Material Changes
In the event that the organizer cancels the event, or makes a material change that significantly impacts the overall experience, guests will be eligible for a full refund of their reservation.
Photography & Video Release
By attending the event, guests acknowledge and agree that photography and video recording will take place. Attendance constitutes consent to be photographed, filmed, and/or otherwise recorded. Guests grant the event organizers and affiliated entities the unrestricted right to use, reproduce, and distribute such media in any format for promotional, marketing, and commercial purposes without compensation.
