About Beltran

Hailing from Bento Gonçalves in southern Brazil, Beltran, real name Juliano Beltran, has become a distinctive presence in international tech house, building his sound around stripped-back percussion, rolling basslines, and unexpected vocal samples. His breakthrough arrived in September 2022 with Smack Yo’, released through Solid Grooves Raw, which reached number one on Beatport’s overall chart and introduced his productions to a worldwide audience. Support from Michael Bibi helped accelerate that rise, bringing the Brazilian producer’s music into some of the underground scene’s most influential DJ sets. Before his international breakthrough, Beltran developed his approach within Brazil’s club circuit, including a residency with Basement in Porto Alegre. He followed Smack Yo’ with releases including Warning, Unfair, and Moonlight with Mandragora, expanding a catalog that balances precision with personality. His Beltools Records platform has since provided a home for releases including The Other Side of Matrix, Saturn, and Saquaremafeaturing MC Rogê, while Passion (R U Satisfied) with The Flirts further demonstrates his interest in reshaping familiar sounds for contemporary dance floors. With Brazilian roots, a growing international presence, and an unmistakable focus on groove, Beltran continues to bring his own character to modern underground house music.
