About Ben Sterling

Hailing from London, England, Ben Sterling has developed a distinctive voice in contemporary house music, drawing on the UK's original tech house movement alongside acid and electro influences. Early releases on Josh Butler's Origins Rcrds attracted attention, while support from Jamie Jones helped bring his productions to a wider international audience. In February 2019, Sterling made his Hot Creations debut with The Energy, a three-track EP pairing rolling grooves and heavy drums with striking vocal hooks, followed later that year by Fantasee. These releases helped establish him within a new generation of British producers carrying underground house music onto global stages. His 2022 remix of Tiga's Mind Dimension marked another major turning point, sharpening his reputation for records that balance club-ready intensity with an adventurous production style. He has since released music through Diynamic, Crosstown Rebels, Solid Grooves, and Bushwacka!'s Oblong Records, while developing his own Planet X label and event series alongside its edits-focused sister imprint, X-Files. A regular presence at Ibiza parties including Paradise, Music On, and Solid Grooves, Sterling has also performed at DC-10, Miami's Club Space, Coachella, Sunwaves, and EDC Las Vegas. His expanding catalog includes All Over My Body featuring Superchumbo, Rok the House, and The Way I Am, followed by 2026 releases including Out of My Mind, Around The World, and Miracles. With a commitment to record discovery and a sound that connects house music's foundations with a restless appetite for experimentation, Ben Sterling brings both depth and unpredictability to the dance floor.
