About Prospa

Formed in Leeds, England, by Harvey Blumler and Guiorgi “Gosha” Smith, Prospa has developed a sound that connects classic house, breakbeat, and the emotional intensity of British rave music. Drawing inspiration from artists including The Prodigy, The Chemical Brothers, and Daft Punk, the duo established an early statement of intent with Control the Party in 2019, building music around the shared release of a crowded dance floor. Their productions have since evolved from breakbeat-driven arrangements into a broader house sound without losing the sense of nostalgia and urgency that distinguished their early work. In 2025, releases including Love Songs featuring Kosmo Kint, This Rhythm featuring RAHH, and You Don’t Own Me with Josh Baker and RAHH expanded their reach. Their collaboration with KETTAMA, I Believe, appeared on his debut album Archangel, further connecting them with a generation reshaping contemporary UK dance music. In June 2026, Prospa released their own debut album, Free Your Mind, through CircoLoco Records, featuring collaborators including Cloonee, KETTAMA, and Murda Beatz. Alongside their Prophecy event series, the album reflects a creative identity built around communal energy, expressive vocals, and a lasting belief in the dance floor as a place of escape.
