Join us as we celebrate the latest project by NOAMZ with live performances by the Black Flute Brigade and NOAMZ herself.

NOAMZ’s latest project is a genre-blending exploration of self-love, identity, and growth, inspired by the surge of UK Garage and Drum & Bass influences shaping the Los Angeles music scene. Drawing from deeply personal experiences as a mixed, first-generation American, NOAMZ reflects on years of struggling with belonging and self-acceptance—building on themes introduced in earlier projects Not Today Sadly and Pandora’s Box.

Sonically, the project weaves together chill Drum & Bass, UKG, and alternative R&B, creating an atmospheric yet emotionally grounded sound. Through this work, NOAMZ aims to connect with listeners navigating similar journeys, offering both vulnerability and affirmation. At its core, the project is an invitation to embrace self-love and find strength in one’s identity.

ABOUT NOAMZ

NOAMZ is a flutist, vocalist, multi-instrumentalist, and producer creating genre-blending alternative music. Raised in a small town in Wisconsin by a Guadeloupean mother and French father, her sound reflects a rich mix of cultural influences and personal storytelling.

ABOUT BLACK FLUTE BRIGADE

BFB (Black Flute Brigade) is a collective dedicated to empowering young Black musicians to express themselves freely and authentically. Formed in December, the group began as a one-time content session in a parking garage, bringing together NOAMZ, BFree, Aaron Shaw, and Jaay Dover. What started as a spontaneous collaboration quickly evolved into something bigger, as the group recognized both the beauty of their sound and the lack of representation for Black flute ensembles.

United by shared experiences of feeling unwelcome in traditional flute spaces, BFB set out to create the community they had long been missing. Through reimagined covers of popular R&B songs, they are redefining what a flute ensemble can look and sound like.
