Wisconsin's largest city-vs-city bar crawl competition is back and bigger than ever.

Battle for Wisconsin is a statewide competition where participants from across Wisconsin will compete to determine which city truly runs the state.

Event Dates

📍 La Crosse – Saturday, September 12, 2026

📍 Milwaukee – Saturday, September 19, 2026

📍 Madison – Saturday, September 26, 2026

One ticket grants access to all three Battle for Wisconsin events.

When purchasing your ticket, simply select the city where you would like to pick up your official city Battle for Wisconsin shirt and wristband.

Will Milwaukee Defend Its Title?

Last year, Team Milwaukee dominated the competition with 984 participants, earning the title of Battle for Wisconsin Champion.

Now Madison and La Crosse are stepping up to challenge the reigning champions.

Will Milwaukee hold onto the crown, or will a new city take over Wisconsin?

How the Competition Works

Battle for Wisconsin is more than just a bar crawl—it's a statewide competition.

Each city will host a 12-hour bar crawl featuring 12 participating bars.

Throughout the event, participants earn points for their city by purchasing drinks and shots at participating venues.

Scoring

🍺 1 Drink = 1 Point

🥃 1 Shot = 1 Point

📱 Points are tracked through the Battle for Wisconsin app

🏆 Live leaderboards will be available throughout the event

At the conclusion of all three weekends, the city with the most points will be crowned the 2026 Battle for Wisconsin Champion.

Participating bars will also compete for top-selling bar honors within their city.

Battle for Wisconsin isn't just about drinking—it's about competition.

Throughout the day, participating bars will feature additional games and challenges where attendees can win prizes, merchandise, free drinks, and bragging rights.
