Soulquarian - A journey through vinyl selections & improv piano fusion

SOULQUARIAN AT ROOSEVELT

Wednesday, October 21 | 7 PM – 11 PM

Featuring J-Me Lee & Garrison

welcomes Soulquarian, an evening celebrating the rich musical heritage of neo-soul, jazz, hip-hop and the artists who helped shape a generation of soulful music.

This special session explores the sounds and influences of artists including Erykah Badu, D’Angelo, J Dilla, Questlove, Yasiin Bey, Common and A Tribe Called Quest.

J-Me Lee and Garrison take us on a journey through carefully curated vinyl selections and improvised piano fusion, blending timeless records with live musical expression. Expect warm grooves, soulful rhythms, deep cuts and unexpected moments as the music moves naturally between genres and generations.

At Roosevelt, we believe music deserves to be experienced, not simply heard. Soulquarian brings that philosophy to life through an intimate listening experience, where the warmth of vinyl, the spontaneity of live instrumentation and the clarity of our Funktion-One sound system come together.

Join us for an evening of musical discovery, exceptional sound, cocktails and conversation.
