About SIDEPIECE

Formed in 2019 by Dylan Ragland, known as Party Favor, and Ricky Mears, known as Nitti Gritti, SIDEPIECE brought together two established American producers with a shared passion for house music. Drawing on their backgrounds in bass music and trap, the duo developed a club-focused sound combining infectious vocal hooks, rolling basslines, and crisp, propulsive percussion. Their breakthrough arrived that same year with On My Mind, a collaboration with Diplo released through his Higher Ground label that earned a nomination for Best Dance Recording at the 63rd Annual Grammy Awards in 2021. The track introduced SIDEPIECE to a global audience and established the project as far more than a side pursuit for its two members. They followed with releases including Together and Give It To Me Good, alongside remixes of John Summit's Deep End and Lil Wayne's A Milli, demonstrating their ability to bring both house and hip-hop records into their distinctive club sound. Their catalog expanded in 2025 with Cry For You (2025), Cash Out with Bobby Shmurda, and Take Your Places with Westend, followed in 2026 by Can I Ride with 95 South and Control with G-POL. Away from the studio, SIDEPIECE has performed at major festivals including Tomorrowland, EDC, Lollapalooza, Bonnaroo, and HARD Summer, taking their blend of house grooves and crossover appeal to audiences around the world. With a Grammy-nominated breakthrough, an expanding collection of collaborations, and a live presence built around immediate dance-floor impact, SIDEPIECE continues to turn a shared creative experiment into a defining chapter of both producers' careers.
