About Knock2

Hailing from San Diego, California, Knock2, real name Richard Nakhonethap, has emerged as a distinctive figure in American electronic music, combining bass house, trap, and melodic production with an emphasis on high-impact performance. His 2021 single dashstar* became a defining release, establishing the sharp rhythms and explosive drops that would become central to his identity. Subsequent tracks including Gettin’ Hott and the 2023 ROOM202 EP expanded that sound, with Rock Ur World featuring fussy demonstrating his ability to balance forceful production with an immediate vocal hook. Alongside his solo work, Knock2 formed ISOKNOCK with fellow San Diego producer ISOxo, developing a collaborative project that brought their individual styles into a shared musical world. The duo released 4EVRin 2024, followed by Knock2’s solo debut album, nolimit, in January 2025 through 88rising. The album expanded his approach across 17 tracks, building on a catalog that also includes feel U luv Me, One Chance featuring Marlhy, and buttons! with Dillon Francis. With an identity grounded in bass music but open to pop melody and broader electronic influences, Knock2 continues to push a sound designed for both immediate excitement and repeat listening.
